Terms & conditions.
The responsibilities that come with using Steerable’s website, apps and remote-access service.
1. Using Steerable
Steerable is operated by Delta4 Infotech Private Limited, India. These terms govern your use of our website, apps and services. Steerable lets you reach an authorized computer remotely and use supported AI tools in that workspace. Use it only on computers, accounts and content you own or have permission to access. If you act for an organization, you must have its authority to do so.
Account holders must be 18 or older. Someone under 18 may use Steerable with a parent or legal guardian’s permission and supervision, where permitted by law. The adult must hold the account and accept these terms. Any age or consent requirements under local law still apply.
2. Your account and devices
Provide accurate account details, protect your sign-in credentials, and approve only controllers you trust. Keep your devices and their permissions secure. End sessions and revoke access you no longer need. Tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use Steerable for unauthorized access, covert monitoring, malware, fraud, harassment or other unlawful activity. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or infringe someone else’s privacy or intellectual property. Permission to connect to a computer does not automatically permit every action on it.
4. AI tasks and third-party tools
AI can make mistakes and act on real files and signed-in apps. Choose tasks and permissions carefully, review important results, and keep backups. Stopping a task does not undo actions already taken.
Steerable Copilot uses the provider you connect, including any fallback providers you enable. Their terms, data policies and charges apply separately. Steerable’s Stop control applies to its Copilot task; it does not stop independent tools such as Codex, Claude Code, OpenClaw or Hermes. Naming those tools does not imply a partnership.
5. Availability and planned features
Remote access depends on an online, awake host, supported software, device permissions and a working network. Features may be unavailable during maintenance or interruptions. Features marked “planned” and illustrative demonstrations are not promises of current availability. The Steerable website shows current public availability.
6. Pricing and payments
We offer paid subscriptions and a 7-day free trial to test the platform. Review the plan, full price, billing period, taxes, trial end date and any automatic renewal or conversion to paid service shown when you sign up. Annual prices shown per month are monthly equivalents of a single yearly charge. AI-provider charges are separate.
Cancel at any time. Use the subscription-management option supplied with your purchase, or email [email protected] for help. Cancel before the trial ends or your next billing date to avoid the next charge. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not reverse an existing payment.
No refunds, except where required by law. Use the 7-day trial to evaluate Steerable before paying. We do not offer discretionary refunds for subscription payments or unused time. This policy does not limit statutory refund rights, remedies for defective services, or protections that cannot legally be waived. Contact support about an incorrect charge or a legally required refund.
7. Your content and privacy
Your files and content remain yours; using Steerable does not transfer their ownership to us. You are responsible for having permission to access and share them, including with an AI provider. See the privacy policy for data handling and the remote-access disclosures for access protections. Steerable’s software and branding remain protected by their respective intellectual-property rights and applicable licenses.
8. Stopping use and account deletion
You can stop using Steerable at any time and request account deletion. Removing the app does not delete your account or cancel a subscription. Include any active Steerable subscription in your deletion request so support can address billing as well. Separate AI-provider subscriptions must be managed with that provider. Access may be restricted where reasonably needed to address a security threat, unlawful activity or a material breach of these terms. Contact support if you believe a restriction was a mistake.
9. Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms removes consumer protections or other rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free AI output. Those limitations do not exclude responsibility where the law requires it.
10. Questions and changes
Contact [email protected] about these terms or a service issue. Changes will be reflected in the date above. Material changes affecting existing users will be communicated before they take effect, with any consent required by applicable law.
